Welcome! Neuroclacks is looking to restart to support neurodiverse people around Stirling following our separation from CTSI. 👋
Dear Neuroclacks Members,
I’m really sorry to have to send this message, but I want to make sure everyone is kept informed and supported.
⚠️ Please do not attend the cinema trip tomorrow – it is no longer going ahead. ⚠️
After seeking advice from CTSI and following on from Ethan’s statement, I’ve made the difficult decision to postpone all Neuroclacks activities until further notice. This is what CTSI has recommended we do. This is not a decision I’ve taken lightly, but I need to make sure that everyone is safe and that we have the right safeguards in place before continuing. This is due to some very dangerous behaviour that occurred last night by a couple of members that needs to be investigated thoroughly. I apologise to anyone who was affected by their actions, and I’ll make sure we do everything in our power to prevent these incidents from reoccurring. 💖
💜 I know this is disappointing and frustrating, and I’m truly sorry for any upset this causes. Please know that my priority is making sure Neuroclacks remains a welcoming, safe, and supportive space for everyone.
🔹 What’s happening next?
❌ The cinema trip is cancelled – please don’t go.
⏸️ All Neuroclacks sessions are on hold while we work on this.
🚫 CTSI has advised members to pause WhatsApp group communication for now.
🧩 Scottish Autism will be stepping in to help guide us through this process.
If you’re feeling anxious, confused, or upset about any of this, please know that you are not alone. I really care about each and every one of our members, and I want to make sure you have the support you need. If you need someone to talk to, please reach out to a friend, a trusted person, or one of the mental health resources I shared yesterday:
